FREE Medical Services!

Dear Human Resources Manager,

After being in private practice for 10 years, I decided to make health and wellness more easily accessible by bringing it into the workplace via corporate wellness programs. Since most people work from 9am-5pm, they have very little time for self-care, prevention, wellness, and to seek holistic health treatments.  What results is that people suffer from high stress and suboptimal health which translates into preventable chronic health care conditions such as diabetes and obesity and suboptimal work performance.  By helping individuals to feel their best, they will function at their highest capacity and the company's bottom line will improve!  This desired solution is a win-win because health and wellness improvement can be accomplished in 30-60 minutes during a lunch break!  The best part is that the entire program may be FREE to the company and the participants depending on their health insurance plan coverage!  Otherwise, discounted group rates are available to make the cost of program negligible!

Just like every large corporation has their own personal legal counsel, it is prudent for businesses to also obtain their own health and medical counsel.  Join the hundreds of successful corporations and institutions that have added wellness programs to their employee benefits and seen their bottom-line soar as a result!

Benefits include:

*Decrease Health Care Costs

*Improve Bottom Line

*Reduce Absenteeism & Sick Days

*Increased Employee Morale & Productivity
*Improved Employee Retention
*Enhanced Ability to Recruit Top Talent
*Increased Job Satisfaction
*Improved Overall Health & Wellbeing

The Affordable Care Act is offering financial incentives (such as tax credits and grants) for companies implementing such programs! A health and wellness coach can reduce health care costs from $6,000 per employee per year to $2,000. This will save a lot of money for the company!

May 2014 be the best year your company has ever seen!

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Our supplement showcase of the month is

The branched chain amino acids L-valine, L-leucine, and L-isoleucine enhance protein synthesis in liver cells and muscle cells. Because they can be oxidized in the cell’s mitochondria, the branched chain amino acids may also provide energy and may serve as fuel sources for skeletal muscles during periods of metabolic stress. As a result, they have been used with success to support liver function.  A study in 2008 also showed that supplementation improved insulin utilization and beta cell function as well as energy metabolism and glucose tolerance in certain people. They are also used by athletes. and reduce perceived exertion and mental fatigue during exercise. $20 per 90 capsule bottle.

Did you know that the amino-acid tryptophan which is found in turkey is what causes you to be sleepy after the big meal?  It is also the building-block of serotonin, the neurotransmitter that is responsible for feelings of wellbeing.

This Holiday season, if you are not vegetarian, we encourage you to buy hormone-free, free-range turkey.  The hormones injected into poultry have negative effects on health and caging the birds has a negative effect on the birds.  Since our body's cells turn over so rapidly, we truly are what we eat.  So please be conscious of the quality of the food that you eat, the atmosphere that you eat it in, the handling, preparation, and preserving of the food, as well as your state of mind while eating it.  These all have influence on digestion, absorption, assimilation, and thus your overall health & wellbeing. You and your family deserve only the best.

Have a Very Happy, Healthy, and Gratitude-filled Thanksgiving!

THANK YOU for your continued support & referrals!

MOVIE RECOMMENDATION

Blackfish is playing in theaters and it is about Orcas in captivity.  The documentary interviews past trainers and a former whale catcher and it is very educational.  Here is a preview:

It demonstrates how Orcas are kidnapped from their family at a very young age and then forced to live 24/7 in a very small tank with complete strangers from different parts of the world (who they often fight with and get hurt by) and are starved unless they preform tricks!  Furthermore, females get artificially inseminated and then have their 2 year old calf taken away against their will. Why is it that in this day and age when there is so much awareness do we allow this to happen to whales, dolphins, sharks, elephants, monkeys, etc?

Whales have feelings and they cry when members of their family are taken away from them.  Many whales are also needlessly killed during the hunt and capture of a single young whale. This practice, still happening today, is horrific, barbaric, and cruel.  It's time for a change! It's time to apply the Golden Rule to mammals and animals: Don't do unto others what you wouldn't want to be done to you! We need to treat these magnificent creatures with the awe and respect that they deserve, not like toys that are used, abused and manipulated.

It is a must see for parents, children, animal lovers, and people who wish to raise their levels of consciousness to include loving and peacefully coexisting with all of God's creatures!

If you can't make it to the theater, this movie called A Whale Of A Business or Lolita: Slave to Entertainment (about the orca in the Miami Seaquarium) which are also very good and insightful and can be viewed for free on youtube by clicking on the blue hyperlinks above.  Another heart-warming Orca documentary is A Killer Whale Called Luna.

Sensory Deprivation Tank

We would like to recommend Du 20 Holistic Oasis for a wonderful flotation meditation experience.  The beautiful wellness center offers Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Massage, an herbal tea bar and other holistic services.  Floating is offered for 60, 90, or 120 minutes in a sensory deprivation tank which is a chamber that enhances deeper levels of meditation since there are no distractions at all. Here are a few of the other benefits from this womb-like Epsom salt flotation: Relaxation, Reduces Stress, Improves sleep patterns, Normalizes blood pressure, Enhances ability to stay focused and concentrate, Unlocks the creative centers in your brain, Strengthens immune system, Pain relief from injuries/ailments, Helps reduce addictive behavior, Reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety, Decreases inflammation in joints and offers a unique experience for each person.

For more information, please read the frequently asked questions and answers in the link above and tell them that you were recommended by Dr Gamliel.  Enjoy the complimentary tea at the end of the session for a lovely rehydration and re-acclimation with your senses.

Meditation CDs COMING SOON!

Our meditation CDs are ALMOST ready for production.  They have all been recorded and are in the process of being edited and mastered and then they will be produced and ready for pre-sale via Indiegogo.  Stay tuned for the October Newsletter for the links to purchase any of the following titles which are 18-36 minutes long:

Self Esteem Meditation

Chakra Balancing Meditation

Smoking Cessation Meditation

Spiritual Growth Meditation

Optimal Weight Meditation

Each CD or MP3 contains an audible guided-meditation with affirmations as well as background binaural beats.  The binaural beats contain various sound frequencies for training the brain subconsciously on the topic of the corresponding meditation.  The binaural beats consist of specially programmed nature sounds, soft music or relaxing nature sounds.  In binaural recordings, different frequencies are sent to the left and right ears so for best results it is recommended to wear stereo earphones.

By working on both the conscious mind as well as the subconscious mind simultaneously, we achieve the best results.

August Newsletter

WE ARE MOVING!

MiBaSo has been in Bay Harbor Islands for almost 3 years.  Unfortunately, the neighborhood has not been very conducive to growth so we are going to open up in a new location which will hopefully be more supportive for holistic medicine.  The exact location will be announced SOON!

PLEASE come in this month to finish up any
package treatments that you bought!

All August appointments will be in the same location.

Every strong emotion that we have about something, is a projection of an inner issue that needs to be worked on. All hatred is self-hatred. All anger is self-anger.  When I am angry at someone or some situation, I must ask myself what is at the core of this irritability, impatience, and frustration trigger?  Is it a lack of faith, a feeling of being out of control, a subconscious fear?  How does it relate to a past negative experience that this instance/opportunity is reactivating and mirroring in order for me to heal my emotional inner child?  If we pause to ask ourselves these questions, and do the inner work instead of blaming others and judging them, then we will really achieve amazing personal growth. Try it!
