HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the dad's out there and to everyone who has a dad! That covers everyone! While not everyone has a perfect dad, or even a decent dad, we are all here reading this newsletter because of a certain man who gave us life. Being a father is a gift and a tremendous responsibility and although some men have run away from these blessings, it is our job to forgive, love, and if possible honor and respect them. This may not be an easy task depending on what kind of a father a person was destined to have but many spiritual practices teach that before we incarnated into this lifetime, we actually picked our parents when our souls were in heaven in order to learn certain lessons in life and have certain experiences that our soul needed for whatever reason.
When I hear about horrible parents doing horrible things to their children and families, I think about what kind of parents they must have had to turn out that way. It is not to remove responsibility but rather to have compassion and some understanding. People are the way they are because somewhere along the line that's what they learned. I have tremendous respect for children who survived abusive parents and had the courage to break the cycle of abuse--meaning that they didn't use it as an excuse to go and abuse their children. I think this is the case more and more today.
This generation is overcoming the mistakes of the past and choosing a more spiritual and enlightened way of being and this is encouraging. So this father's day whether you have a good relationship with your dad, or one that has room for improvement, I hope that you choose the enlightened path and regardless of what kind of dad your biological father is or was, send him love for giving you life. Send him a telepathic "Thank you" for putting me here on this earth because I have learned a lot of valuable lessons and I have many things that I enjoy doing and there are people that I love being with and I have a unique mission in life that I am happy to be here discovering and fulfilling.

We are extending our Summer Special for 1 more month, until June 30!
We hope that you have a wonderful month! And remember, you don't have to have pain or a problem that needs to be treated to come in for a session. Acupuncture is great for prevention and maintenance so show your body, which is a temple for your soul, the same courtesy and respect that you show your car and come in for a tune-up!
Namaste,
Ahuva Gamliel
